Yuwa, Hello everyone!

Due to the recent Victorian Bushfires, Bruce Woodley (The Seekers) has asked The Yabu Band to write a message of support. The message of support not only comes from The Yabu Band but on behalf of Indigenous Australian's.

This is The Yabu Band's message of support!

On behalf of the Indigenous people of Australia, 'The Yabu Band' would like to show support by sending our prayers and condolences to all the victims of the Victorian Bushfires.

Australian's have traditionally come together through very tough times, However, we have never come together as much as we have now in these extremely dire times.

The Yabu Band would like to share a message of support by saying;

I want so much to help you and to be there for you now, to help you from your hard times; if only I knew how, and though I know you had so much to go through life on your own, my hands and heart reach out to say, you'll never be alone".

Our hearts reach out to comfort those for whom we care, to let them know this painful time is something we can share, to gently hold them close and reassure them we'll be there, with this, our culture can be healed... yeah yeah! together we all can be healed.

These words are taken from the lyric of "The Yabu Band's" song... "Healing Our Culture"

So, from 'The Yabu Band'... Ngayulu, Nyurrapa, Parna Ngaliku Mularrpa...

I am, you are, We are Australian...

The Yabu Band...
